I am a proud member and Elder of the Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe, where I have served on the Board of Directors for 4 1/2 years. During my term, I served as a Board Member, followed by a term as Secretary, and I currently hold a position of Vice-President of the Tribe.
I am actively involved with the Yavapai College Foundation, enjoy playing chair volleyball, and participate in the Prescott Senior Softball. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management.
I was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona, I like to say I am a true Prescottonian.

Angela Salazar is a dynamic and passionate advocate, serving as a Program Director at YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix. In this role, she spearheads transformative initiatives that promote fair representation and accessible opportunities, making a tangible difference in the community. Angela's exceptional leadership and dedication to empowering communities earned her the prestigious 2021 Rising Star Award from the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA).
Angela's unwavering commitment is reflected in her previous roles as the Unified ERG Strategy Director and a member of the President’s Advisory Council at the University of Phoenix. She has a proven track record of building bridges between departments, organizations, and community leaders, fostering awareness, and creating opportunities for those who need them most.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Angela engaged in thought-provoking discussionson identity, access to opportunities, and the root causes of disparities. Her contributions to forums such as the She Matters Forum and the Inclusive Leadership Summit have inspired many and highlighted effective strategies for advocacy and policy influence. Angela's passion for networking and building social capital empowers individuals to achieve their professional growth and make a positive impact in their communities.
Angela's dedication to her work and community has also earned her a nomination for the 2022 Athena Awards by the Greater Phoenix Chamber, amongst other notable awards. She continues to inspire and lead by example, promoting creativity, innovation, and the maximization of individual potential. Angela Salazar is not just a leader; she is a catalyst for change, driving forward the mission of social collaboration with unwavering determination.

Tricia Kinnell has been active in the field of public health and SNAP-ED for 25 years with Yuma County Public Health Services District, with a special focus on community food systems. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator for AZ Health Zone in Yuma County. Additionally, as chair of the Yuma HEAL Coalition and a Master Gardener, she specializes in building communities around food gardens and advancing strategies that increase the availability and equitable access to nutritious food. A long-time resident of Yuma County, she has nurtured deep relationships with the community, dedicating many of her years here collaborating with local and regional partners to improve food systems.

I have worked for Yavapai County Community Health Services in the Health Education Department for 18 years and in the SNAP grant for at least 12 of those years. I'm passionate about empowering the communities I work in with the knowledge and resources needed to live healthier lives. I live in Prescott with my husband and 2 dogs, I love to hike, cook, and spend time with family.

Bree has dedicated over eight years of her professional career to the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension in Mohave County, where she serves as both an educator and the program lead for AZ Health Zone and Food Safety. Prior to Extension, she worked at the Mohave County Department of Public Health, where she held the position of Environmental Health Division Manager. In this role, she focused on ensuring regulatory compliance through comprehensive community education and fostering behavioral change. Since 2013, Bree has been actively involved in community education, collaborating with numerous local, state, and federal partners to advance public health initiatives.

Breakout Session A: Session A: Now what? Reflecting on PSE Sustainability and Opportunities
Andrea Golfen is the Community Participation and Engagement Specialist for AZ Health Zone’s State Implementation Team. Having lived in Arizona for more than twenty years, she is dedicated to supporting local implementing agencies in their efforts to empower SNAP-eligible residents in improving the nutrition and physical activity environments in their communities. She graduated twice from Arizona State University, first with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and almost a decade later with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. As a Dietetic Technician Registered, she spent time in WIC clinics before moving to state public service, first at the Arizona Department of Education, and now with the Arizona Department of Health Services. She lives in central Phoenix with her spouse, two kids, parents, two cats and a dog. She likes to read books and ride bikes

Kathryn Faull is the AZ Health Zone School Systems Specialist at the Arizona Department of Health Services. With a B.S. in Kinesiology and a Masters of Public Health Policy, she possesses a thorough understanding of personal health and the systems that dictate a person’s ability to live their healthiest life. Kathryn’s experiences include youth, education, food bank/pantry work, and legislative policy. While always excited to talk about nutrition security and PSE work, she also enjoys spending her time with loved ones, hiking, and studying Buddhism.

Adrienne Udarbe is the Executive Director of Pinnacle Prevention, an Arizona-based nonprofit dedicated to cultivating a just food system and opportunities for joyful movement. In this role, she leads innovative efforts in food systems, community design, policy, advocacy, and research. Adrienne is a Registered Dietitian and shares more than two decades of experience in public health and public sector systems with a focus on justice, access, and community engagement to support community wellbeing for all. Adrienne is a passionate advocate inspired by good causes, good people, and good food.

Jaclyn Chamberlain is the Director of Community Engagement with Pinnacle Prevention, an Arizona-based nonprofit dedicated to cultivating a just food system and opportunities for joyful movement. In this role, she serves as a master facilitator, leads training development and design, and guides trauma and resilience informed practice and system change. Jaclyn is a Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in public health and nutrition assistance programs. Jaclyn is deeply curious and inspired by community every day.

Laurel is the lead evaluator for Arizona’s SNAP-Ed program and the Principal Investigator on the project. She worked for Arizona’s SNAP-Ed program at the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension for ten years before becoming an external SNAP-Ed evaluator. In addition to leading the Arizona SNAP-Ed evaluation team, she enjoys presenting topics of evaluation interest in graduate level University of Arizona courses, at national conferences, and within the SNAP-Ed professional community

Theresa LeGros is a career evaluator with the AZ Health Zone Evaluation Team, which operates out of the University of Arizona Department of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness. Here, Theresa designs and conducts SNAP-Ed evaluation throughout Arizona and specializes in school health and early childhood. Her research interests include the application of systems thinking to the evaluation of complex programs, mixed methods to explore causality, and data visualization to enhance the usability of findings. Theresa holds an MA in Biological Anthropology.

Her professional interests include advancing culturally responsive evaluation practices and exploring systems-level evaluation approaches.

Kyle Nutumya (Kuwanhongva), a member of the Sand Clan from the Village of Hotevilla, is the Program Manager of the Natwani Coalition. After graduating from Tuba City High School in 2013, he pursued studies in Sustainable Green Building at Coconino Community College. He gained hands-on experience at the Hopi Tutskwa Permaculture Institute, where he transitioned from intern to Building Apprentice, playing a key role in constructing Passive Solar Homes for Hopi families. His work emphasized sustainable building practices and community engagement, fostering strong local partnerships. Passionate about preserving and enhancing Hopi life, Kyle continues to apply his skills and cultural knowledge to support food sovereignty, sustainability, and traditional practices through the Natwani Coalition.

Clint Lomawunu, from the Village of Sipaulovi and of the Sun Forehead Clan, is a skilled stone mason with expertise in watershed development and a background in bio-archaeology. He embraces an outdoor lifestyle, spending his time rafting the Colorado River, collecting unique Hopi rocks, and trail running across the desert. His experiences at the Hopi Cultural Preservation Office and the Hopi Tutskwa Permaculture Institute have deepened his understanding of traditional knowledge and sustainable practices. Now serving with the Natwani Coalition, he is dedicated to fostering education, community wellness, and environmental resilience. Through his work, Clint strives to ensure the preservation of Hopi traditions and the sustainability of resources for future generations.

Staci Kaye (Tewa/Hopi) is the Program Director of the Hopi Foundation and a member of the Stick (Bluespruce)/Spider Clan from the village of Tewa. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Haskell Indian Nations University in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma in 2022. Her career spans customer service, the restaurant industry, childcare, and politics, including leadership roles in student government at HINU. After 18 years away, she returned home, serving as Executive Advisor for the Office of the Vice Chairman, Chair of the Village of Tewa's Election Board, and Secretary for the Hopi Tewa Women's Coalition to End Abuse Board. Now, she is dedicated to applying her skills in the non-profit sector to support the Hopi/Tewa communities.

Luis (he/they) is a multidisciplinary storyteller, educator, narrative strategist, and the founder and director at Storytellers for Change. Over the last 16 years, Luis has worked with youth, educators, and cross-sector leaders to harness the power of narrative to co-imagine, craft, and share stories to build an equitable world. Luis has a BA in Political Science from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Education Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Luis was born and raised in Tenochtitlan (Mexico City) and now lives in the unceded and ancestral lands of the Duwamish and Coast Salish people (Seattle).
