Ingredients:

  • 1 14-ounce package of silken tofu
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup herbs (cilantro, parsley, basil, dill, or a combination), roughly chopped and loosely packed
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey*
  • 4 tablespoons of lemon juice (juice of two 2 lemons) or your favorite vinegar such as, red or white wine vinegar

Directions:

  1. Wash hands with soap and warm water. Rinse any fresh vegetables before preparing.
  2. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor.
  3. Pulse to combine, scraping down the sides of the blender or food processor when needed, and blend until mixture is smooth. 
  4. Serve immediately with your favorite salad or as a dip for vegetables, a spread on a sandwich, or as a sauce for tacos. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

*Honey should not be fed to infants less than one year of age.
