“New” Crispy Bread Crumb Topping
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs or 3 tablespoons if using Panko breadcrumbs
- 1½ teaspoons of olive oil (or oil of your choice)
- ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
- Wash hands with soap and warm water.
- In a medium skillet, over medium heat, add oil.
- Add breadcrumbs and red pepper flakes, if using. Cook and stir occasionally for about two minutes or until breadcrumbs are browned and toasted.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve immediately on top of your favorite dishes for a tasty crunch!
